Sigh. Prayer Requests.

Thank you all so much for the sweet words, prayers and encouragement over this past week. I promise to begin updating you regularly again, as well as details with my pregnancy soon.

I have an appointment with a "high-risk" specialist on Thursday for the swelling and difficulties in breathing that are likely to be attributed to the swelling. These complications could likely jeopardize my job if I have to be taken off work this early in the game. It's a lot of stress, and I'm storing up a lot of guilt for my inability to complete my responsibilities at home as well as possibly not being able to work. Please keep us in your prayers. Please also pray specifically that I can continue to trust that each piece to this is God's plan for something. This entire pregnancy has been a learning lesson for me to trust God more than I ever have, and with each trial, I know he's telling me I'm not trusting him enough. I'm working on that personal growth.

I was involved in a minor car accident today. My car was the only one involved, and thankfully I walked away with no broken bones. I'm definitely very sore, and very emotional. I went straight to the OB and got a check on our sweet Baby Cannoli. I'm going for a record of ultrasounds within the first trimester, ha. Everything looked fantastic, and Baby Cannoli is still wiggling around like crazy. That was the biggest relief of the entire day.

I also have another prayer request that doesn't involve me. A dear friend of mine is enduring her own battles at this time. Her husband was in a severe car wreck a week ago and suffered with injuries of MULTIPLE broken bones that will require several surgeries. They have a 5 month old son, and he will likely be off work until the spring. Please keep this family in your prayers as he heals physically and they can both heal mentally.

It's a trying time in the Kentucky world, but I'm so thankful for my bloggy friends. You have given me so much advice and encouragement that I otherwise wouldn't have gotten. Thank you so much.

Oh, sweet girl, I just tear up reading this. I'm a wreck myself with worry every day, and I know how insane you must be feeling, with the past few months you've had with this baby. I am lifting you up in prayer, and I am so glad we're about to leave our first trimester! I hope things ease up for you!
