31 Weeks

31 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Still holding steady at 148.

Maternity clothes? Mostly non maternity shirts, but ALL maternity pants.

Stretch marks? Yep, there are finally a few very small ones.  Right smack on my rear end.  Lovely.  But better than on my belly!

Sleep: A little better.  Still feeling disturbed by some local news stories that are keeping me awake, but I'm working on it.

Best moment this week: Feeling Ethan have the hiccups.  I think he has had them a few times before, but I wasn't 100% sure until this week.  They are so cute, but I feel so sorry for him at the same time!

Movement: My squirmy little man.

Food cravings: Same ol' same ol'...sweets, fresh fruit, peanut butter-but not mixed together!

Gender: Our sweet baby Ethan Bryant Orlando.

Labor Signs: Definitely some BH going on.  Again, I thought I had them before, but I wasn't sure.

Belly Button in or out? It's official.  I'm no longer calling my bellybutton an "innie" because, well it isn't.  It is now officially known as a "flattie."

Wedding rings on or off? On. I only take them off to sleep.

What I miss: Walking faster.

What I am looking forward to: My 32 week OB appointment!

Weekly Wisdom: I have none.

Milestones: Ethan's room is 100% COMPLETE! My grandmother brought over the final finishing touch early this week and now the room is ready for it's big blog reveal! Maybe I'll reveal next week!

Earth Day, Birthday

Earth Day was originally founded to originate awareness and appreciation of the natural beauty that our Earth has to offer.  Three years ago, we were given a whole new meaning to Earth Day.  The natural beauty of our Earth grew an extra size when my sweet niece made her grand entrance into the world.

Riley has brought so much laughter and extra joy in our lives that I can't remember a life before she was born.  There is nothing sweeter than hearing that little girl tell me that she NEEDS my hugs and kisses.  There is nothing funnier than hearing her declare that "My puppy has pooped in my home sweet home.  Daddy's had it with that dog."

I love nothing more than to listen to this sweet little face giggle.  She is almost always full of smiles and giggles, but her Pappy (aka, my Dad) has a way of making her laugh that keeps her going for minutes on end.  Her giggle is SO contagious, and it is always a good idea to make a visit to see Riley when you are feeling down.

She has grown so quickly from the sweet newborn that my family waited on for 16 hours on April 22, 2008 to a beautiful little girl.  I will never forget holding her for the first time and declaring that her button nose was my favorite feature of hers.

Happy 3rd Birthday sweet Riley!  Uncle Jason and "Your" Paige love you so much!
