If you are uncomfortable do some research...in all honesty chiropractors have very low malpractice rates and often do more good than damage. A GOOD chiropractor will only do adjustments if they believe it will be beneficial to you. I was nervous when I first went to, but the most important thing to do is try to stay relaxed, breathe and ask questions!HTRenzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03591980020018126783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8886331007612531648.post-61631309365266586242010-09-16T16:48:48.040-05:002010-09-16T16:48:48.040-05:00I'm sorry about your headaches, that's awf...I'm sorry about your headaches, that's awful :(

I used to go the chiropractor a lot. The neck popping was always my least favorite. Not because it hurt or anything...just freaked me out. But as long as you relax and have a good chiro it's not bad! And I loved everything else.

I bet a good massage therapist would do some good too!Jen Creedhttp://www.jennifercreedblog.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8886331007612531648.post-30087392342374291782010-09-15T09:25:25.152-05:002010-09-15T09:25:25.152-05:00Yucky! Ed was getting bad tension headaches for 2 weeks, I tried getting him to go to a massage specifically for tension headaches, but before he tried that he got a new pillow. Poof. No more tension headaches. Worth a shot? Hope you figure it out and feel better soon cousin!!!Amy Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09259453817112186268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8886331007612531648.post-29572565297844685552010-09-14T17:57:24.858-05:002010-09-14T17:57:24.858-05:00Chiropracters and massage therapists work wonders ...Chiropracters and massage therapists work wonders for me. A lot of times my headache stems from that.

B) I would definitely try a massage first just to see if there are some basic kinks that need to be worked out...

C) Do you work out any? A lot of times exercise can help to STOP these headaches... just a thought

I have been MIA for a while but I am back and catching (trying to) up!! We take ryleigh too for her acid reflux and it works wonders!! She loves it!!

If you are scared to go straight to the chiro maybe try physical therapy or a massage first?? I've heard great things about accupressure as well!Kristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14026989538360928035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8886331007612531648.post-1960770063587404092010-09-13T20:14:17.554-05:002010-09-13T20:14:17.554-05:00I went to a chiropractor years ago, but it was for...I went to a chiropractor years ago, but it was for my lower back. I LOVED it. Then again, I'm the type of freak that can crack my own neck (and pretty much any other part of my body, lol).

Have you thought of trying a massage therapist, first? I also get tension headaches (they stem from tension in my neck and shoulders) and a couple of good massages do wonders.Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05822486137387353123noreply@blogger.com
